PUBG Mobile teaser for Indian market

Amid rumors about the return of PUBG Mobile to India, a short video of PUBG Mobile India tags appeared on the YouTube channel of India but has now been downloaded.

The teaser did not disclose any release date or time, GSMArena reported on Friday.

"However, the fact that the video came out is a strong indication that the game will be re-released in South Africa," the report said.

The developer of PUBG, recently announced the pre-registration of a new battle royale game, called New State, in the Google Play store. However, it has excluded India as the company works to revive PUBG Mobile in the country.

Recently, the company also posted a list of Indian company operations, including Investment and Strategy Analyst.

However, there is no official statement from the company about its plans to restart the country.

The Indian government on September 2 banned 118 applications with national security concerns, including the popular Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile, under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.

PUBG, with more than 600 million downloads and 50 million active players worldwide, had nearly 33 million users in India.
